Override a parking limit
Issue a visitor parking pass even when the suite or plate is over a configured quota. You need access to Visitor Parking, and the pass type must allow over-limit bookings (see tip below).
- Open Visitor Parking from the sidebar under Operations.
- Click New pass and fill Unit, Resident, Parking lot, Parking rule, visitor details, License plate, and the from/to date and time as usual.
- Click Check Availability.
- Under Pass types, find the pass type marked Overlimit (not Not Available).Pass types list with an Overlimit status — Availability results showing a pass type status Overlimit
- Select the checkbox for that Overlimit pass type.
- Click Continue, complete any Disclaimer or Terms steps, then click Confirm on Summary.
Tip: If every option shows Not Available, a manager must turn on Allow over-limit bookings for that pass type under Parking Pass Settings → rule → Schedule → edit pass type → Limits, then click Save changes on the rule. See Configure visitor parking rules.
Result: The pass is created even though the quota was exceeded. The toast confirms creation (and · pending approval if the rule requires approval).
