Scan a package label

Use the webcam or a photo so AI can fill carrier, tracking, and resident when logging a package. You need a staff account with access to Packages, and a working camera or a clear label photo.

  1. Open Packages from the sidebar under Operations.
  2. Click Log package.
  3. Under Type, choose Incoming (or Outgoing if logging an outgoing parcel).
  4. Click Scan label with webcam, or click Upload label photo.Log new package scan options — Log new package dialog with Scan label with webcam and Upload label photo
  5. In Scan package label, point the camera at the label, then click Capture (or Upload photo).
  6. Wait for Analyzing label with AI…, then review the filled fields.

    Tip: If you see AI filled fields below — please review before saving., check Resident, Carrier, and Tracking (short) before you save. If no resident matched, pick one manually.

  7. Click Log & notify resident (or Log outgoing package for outgoing).

    Tip: For many parcels at once, click Bulk log, then Scan all labels with webcam.

Result: Fields are prefilled from the label, the package is logged after you save, and the label photo is kept with the entry when capture succeeded.
