Archive a Directory record
Hide a resident, unit, parking spot, locker, vehicle, pet, or bike rack from the active Directory list. You need access to Directory and permission to archive records for the building.
- Open Directory from the sidebar.
- Click the tab for the record type (Residents, Units, Parking Spots, Lockers, Vehicles, Pets, or Bikes).
- Find and click the row so the detail sidebar opens.
- At the bottom of the sidebar, click the archive action for that record type:
- Residents: Archive
- Units: Archive unit
- Parking Spots: Archive parking spot
- Lockers: Archive locker
- Vehicles: Archive vehicle
- Pets: Archive pet

- Complete the confirmation dialog for that record type.
- For residents, choose Archive mode (or Move In To… if you are relocating), set Date archived if needed, then click Archive resident.
- For units, review the affected residents and assets, set Move-out date if needed, then click Archive unit.
- For other record types, confirm by clicking Archive.
Result: You see a success toast such as Resident archived, Unit archived, or Parking spot archived. The record leaves the active list unless Show archived is on.
Tip: Archived records stay in Directory. Turn on Show archived under Filter when you need to find them again.
